DKU History
The concept for a “development” university originated in Cameroon, West Africa, where a highly successful training program in development methodology is being carried out in Dale Kietzman Leadership Centers.
The two-year program is based on a community-level development project selected and carried out by each student over the period of study. These centers have received official standing from the Ministry of Education in Cameroon. Now, Dale Kietzman University is launching a new, university-level instructional programs offered at the associates, bachelors, masters, and doctoral levels in several majors.

UTAH:
DKU has established an Exemption under the Utah Post-Secondary School Act (Title 13, Chapter 34, Section 105). Exemption under the Utah Post-Secondary School Act does not mean that the State of Utah supervises, recommends, nor accredits the institution. Murray, Utah serves as the institution’s administrative headquarters. All DKU programs are available through the State of Utah Exemption.
California:
DKU is approved for theological programs under a Exempt status with California’s Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE).
Douala, Cameron, Africa:
DKU’s Institut Superior Dale Kietzman campus in Douala, Cameroon, Africa is also recognized by the Cameroon Ministry of Higher Education (MINESUP) to offer programs ranging from associates to doctorates.
